Why not? As a web developer I need to keep on top of so many different technologies. I’ve worked with a lot of CMS solutions, WordPress included, and they all have their pluses and minuses. While I still haven’t found the perfect CMS, WordPress works fine for personal blogs and it’s easy to use. There are plenty of great themes available and for the most part it’s a well-executed system. The biggest problems seem to involve security issues, but I guess there is safety in keeping a low profile. For the time being, I’m gonna use WordPress for my personal blog since that’s what it’s best suited for. My advice about CMS’s has always been to use the best tool for the particular project or site you need to build.
